ABOUT

About Me.

My story... in brief

Having lived in the valley for 22 years, I must admit to knowing more people than my husband, who was born here, in the old hospital as they say!

Dynamic, overflowing with ideas, keen to bring people together, I like to highlight the good addresses of the Chamonix valley through words. I dedicate myself body and soul to the development of our beautiful and precious territory and hope to meet the expectations of locals and tourists alike.

There are so many good little-known addresses which, in my eyes, deserve a human spotlight that is close to you, dear reader.

Sharing, helping and writing makes me happy. This is also why it seemed obvious to me to make myself useful and supportive with My Little Pass.

I am married, have two children plus this third, My little Chamonix, whom I am delighted to find again after a break towards other horizons. Don't hesitate to call me if you see me in Charlestine, my essential 2cv!

With that, Arvi pa! Want to know more? Scroll a little…

Mes secrets

With me, no “agnesthesia” possible! My energy wakes everyone up. 🥳

I grew up with a bottle of Cointreau and Sarazin pancakes. No alcohol problem, just that I like to remember that Cointreau is from Angers. 😜

My dad passed on to me his love for the ocean and sailing, my mom her talent for organization.💁‍♀️

The eldest of two wonderful brothers and sisters, I dreamed of becoming a journalist, even a special correspondent!

🗞 After a master's degree in history in the United States 🇺🇸 in the middle of the 9/11 attacks, I arrived in the Chamonix valley. Finally, I'm on a bit of a special mission here.📍

🤔 Why the mountains when we dream of the Transatlantic? Oh, love ! 💘 The encounter of a lifetime, the one we don't expect, but which is obvious! A 100% local, a solid and protective hockey player-carpenter with whom I had two marvels of which I am very proud.

2002. I created the Chamonix women's ice hockey team 🏒 (which still exists) to continue the sport I practiced.

I work as a freelancer for Le Dauphiné Libéré, a magazine from Annecy and today the Magazine La Vallée. ✒️

I signed permanent contracts as a postwoman and then a facilitator at the Tourist office. So many jobs that I loved, but founding my own media, Mon Petit Chamonix, in 2012, deeply fulfilled me.

I never stopped training, even during MPC's long nap😴 (employment having become necessary).

💡My passion for writing, highlighting beautiful people and establishments in the valley, a territory which is now part of me, has come back as obvious.

The return of MPC took place in the middle of confinement #1. Certainly not the right time professionally speaking, but the opportunity to show solidarity and respond to the primary mission of my Little Chamonix: to help and support 🤗

Feeling useful and alive is essential for me to stay positive.

🍌 Today, I live fully by highlighting the best of the best of the valley and beyond. Yes, restaurant testing, massages and other thrill-seeking activities are my full-time job.

➡️ Quadra, head full of ideas, energy to spare and a non-existent fear of ridicule; there, you know everything.
