Why is a Pionniers ice hockey match always an event?
- A long history! Ice hockey in Chamonix
has been an institution and part of local culture since 1910!
- 30 times French champions!
Known as Les Pionniers since 2016, the Chamonix team is on a mission to win another title!
Les Pionniers season :
- Let’s all meet at the Richard Bozon Ice Rink for the season opener on Friday, September 18 (8:00 p.m.) to celebrate the team’s 10th anniversary! On the schedule: Chamonix vs. Amiens.
- Nearly 50 games will take place this season, including more than 30 home games during the regular season, the Coupe de France, playoffs/playdowns, and friendlies.
- We’ll face off against 11 tough teams: Briançon, Gap, Anglet, Grenoble, Nice, Angers, Amiens, Bordeaux, Cergy-Pontoise, Marseille, and Rouen.
The team :
- Twenty players—from France, Finland, Sweden, Canada, the United States, and Belarus—make up a strong team, ready to defend the colors of their jersey!
- Under the leadership of Coach
Santeri IMMONEN, the season promises to be exciting!
Attending a Pionniers ice hockey match at the Richard Bozon skating rink means experiencing intense emotions.
You'll be thrilled by the players, enjoy a show, meet Chamy (the mascot) and have a great time with your friends. Sharing, shouting, experiencing adrenaline rushes, but also grumbling and flirting with resilience!

I tried to keep up with our ice hockey team playing @synerglaceliguemagnus! 😅
🗓️ Launch of the season on Tuesday September 17 at 8 p.m. in Chamonix!
At first, these guys impressed me.
I have to say that I miss their youth and their energy 😂.
The coach, Anatoli Bogdanov, also impresses with his presence!
All this exuded an explosive team full of combativeness! 💪
I didn't dismantle myself though, you know me and I put the skates on with them.
Despite the good atmosphere on the ice, the coach sounded the death knell, I will only wear the team jersey in the stands 💁🏻♀️.
So I went to watch their preparation match and there it was a show that I saw! 💥
A story film on the big screen that moved me and an entrance from the players that dazzled me! 🤩
And then goals, “clashes”, gifts between third parties!
In short, come on Tuesday to support Les Pionniers against Briançon, you will LOVE it!
