LA CRÈMERIE DES AIGUILLES
MOUNTAIN RESTAURANT IN CHAMONIX
Generous French cuisine at the chalet
This little chalet on Route des Gaillands, facing the Aiguille du Midi, is a hidden gem.
La Crèmerie des Aiguilles is a cozy haven worthy of a mountain retreat, where the aroma of home cooking draws you in like a magnet.
Sophie and Laurent are passionate restaurateurs who love nothing more than treating their customers to a delicious meal.
We love the wood-paneled decor and antique objects, as well as the terrace and barbecue in summer.
When you think of a dairy, you think of cheese...
- We love the original fondue at La Crèmerie, made with Montroc tomme cheese (from the heart of the valley), cider, and calvados.
- So creamy and fruity!
- We can't resist the Crèmerie's croûte. A Savoyard specialty made with bread, Comté cheese, Beaufort cheese, Montroc tomme cheese, tomato, and truffle ham. A truly signature croûte!
- We recommend the vegetarian croziflette, which allows you to enjoy a specialty without meat.
Small restaurant but hearty dishes!
- Exceptional value for money!
- Everything is homemade, even the breadcrumbs! The flavors are rich and the portions are generous!
- When the plates arrive, your eyes will pop! The chef doesn't skimp on the portions.
- The dishes are hearty, mouthwatering, and delicious! Comforting French recipes.
- The gourmet coffee is enormous! You could almost share it if you weren't such a big eater!
- In the summer, we love the wood-fired grills, the must-try ribs, and the concerts on the terrace.
La Crèmerie des Aiguilles is, let's not mince words, my current favorite.
This mountain restaurant has been the talk of the town. We've heard it all, but now hear the truth: it's a very, very good place that I recommend with my eyes closed (and my mouth open).
