LA BRAISE
Wood-fired kitchen and wine cellar
Why do we particularly like La Braise restaurant in Les Houches?
- For its show cooking !
Most dishes are cooked right before your eyes, over a wood fire in the fireplace.
- Because wood-fired cooking 🔥rends dishes comforting and tasty.
- Because the La Braise team honors the Savoyard terroir:
- Local products from local producers and farmers (Pin-Pin, Maison Bourdillat, Shoukâ chocolate and coffee, Ferme de Maneguet....)
- Support for small producers and respect for the product
- Because it's a great place to eat !
- The local menu is a tribute to French cuisine.
- Lamb from the Mont-Blanc region, back of pork, cuts of beef, as well as burgers, braserade and cheese specialties.
- We can't resist the dessert window, and we've fallen in love with the snail skewers!
- For its impressive cellar :
The wine cellar contains over 500 references of organic wines from here and abroad.
- Because in their small grocery store, you'll find nuggets like the original vinegars, for example.
- Because the
terrace overlooking Mont Blanc is simply magnificent!
La Braise, the perfect place to melt with pleasure!
In this welcoming round room, pleasantly warmed by the fireplace, you know you're in for a good time.
The quality of the products, which is confirmed in the mouth, hammers home a single idea: to come back again and again!
Beautiful plates, raclette cooked in the fireplace or a melting piece of meat, accompanied by a wine that enhances the dish: all good reasons to go and eat at La Braise.

🔥Have you already tested @labraise_chamonix?
If you went there at the very beginning, go back! The team is now well established and is sublimating the good products of the region!
We love the raclette cooked in the fireplace, the Magland snail skewers, the wood-fired beef cuts and even the Savoie fish😋.
🍇I loved our VIP table in the cellar. Surrounded by more than 500 organic wine references, I admit that the setting puts “wine in the mouth” 😅
👌The “ember red” decor is very nice and the old-fashioned posters of the various French grape varieties remind us of our school classes (even if for us, they weren’t maps of the wine regions 😂)
In short, a very good time spent at La Braise. We had a great time and without being chauvinistic, I am proud to have honored French and more mainly local producers.
Congratulations to William, Thomas, Thibault and the team for this point of honor to highlight the work of French farmers and artisans.
