Next stop, the Index’Bus, route du Bouchet, where an English bus offers itself a new life as a food truck! A daring conversion for this red bus, but above all tasty because the dishes prepared there are made with 100% local ingredients! No tomato beans or English Jelly, but products from local producers and therefore very French.
What? Are you telling me the Index’Bus burgers are insane and the bread is dark? Hush! Take a bite of this one, the aptly named “L’Arveyron” with Morzine trout, that way you will say less nonsense! Can’t you see it’s a cuttlefish ink bread specially made by the Argentière bakery, l’Al’Pain? Idiot!
Here William, Thibault and Jack only select and transform exceptional products! The flagship burger, “La Yaute”, for example, is cooked on site with minced meat from Val d’Arly, smoked bacon from Savoie, farmhouse reblochon AOP, onions and even homemade ketchup and pickles! How to do better? Oh if I forgot, they obviously use seasonal products like the butternut mash in the veggie burger, for example.
On the drink side, I love the draft beer of the Brasseurs Savoyards, medal-winning craftsmen, and their other organic drinks made near Annecy.

Imagine when the 24 seats on the floor of the bus and the 100 seats on the terrace, at the back of the bus, will be able to open to the public! The Index’Bus will become The place to be, the terminus for gourmets who will come to eat quickly and who will end up spending too much time in the sun… I’ll let you daydream about this better future.
